Engagement locations

The Bay Area is so amazingly beautiful that one can be surprised looking around each corner. So many people ask; “I just don’t know where to have my engagement pictures taken”.

Rest assured, whatever your taste, urban settings, beach settings, garden or park settings, the Bay Area has it covered.

Ever thought of the Botanical Gardens at UC Berkeley? Did you know that it is over 34 acres of beauty? The gardens at UC Berkeley have different areas to suit just about everyone’s taste. For instance, they have Mediterranean gardens, South African Gardens, Desert gardens, Asian gardens and beautiful redwood groves just to name a few.

These gardens are open daily from 9am to 5pm and cost $9 per adult with the first Thursday of each month free (I like that!!). Parking is available in the UC Lot across from the Garden at $1.50 per hour.

Here are some wonderful pictures of the gardens at UC Berkeley…

If you are in San Francisco, is there really any better gardens that at Golden Gate Park? There are the amazing Japanese Tea Garden, the Queen Wilhelmina Tulip Garden, the Garden of Shakespeare’s Flowers and, of course, the Botanical Gardens. Not enough for you? There is great photography to be had at Strawberry Hill in the park. There you will find an amazing waterfall, paddle boats and the Golden Gate Pavillion which was a gift from Taipei to the city of San Francisco.
